Drivers are facing severe delays on the A127 eastbound this morning after reports of a driver stalling on the road and blocking multiple lanes.
Data from AA traffic shows delays of more than 8 minutes and a three mile queue due to the stalled vehicle, which was moved to the hard shoulder but has still caused major delays.
The average speed on the A127 is 20mph and drivers are being warned of slow traffic on on the A127 London bound from B148 West Mayne Dunton Junction to M25 J29 Basildon.
Traffic has begun to ease but delays are expected to continue throughout the morning rush hour.
