GET ready for Girl Power Weekend at Mayhem, Southend, with Peaches Geldof and Caprice taking control of the decks, plus a live performance from Ms Dynamite.
Peaches takes centre stage at Authentic tonight and will be joined by DJing partner-in-crime and best mate Fifi Brown, who play the club circuit under their Trash Pussies alias.
The second daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, Peaches is a sometimes TV presenter, but mostly a fully paid up member of the celebrity ligger brigade.
Last year the 20-year-old got married to American musician Max Drummey at A Little White Chapel, Las Vegas. To seal the bond, the couple had each other’s names tattooed on their hands. The marriage lasted six months and Peaches recently claimed on the internet to have got hitched again, this time to Fifi.
Authentic plays indie, pop and club anthems. Admission is £3 before 10.30pm, £5 after.
Tomorrow night, American lingerie model and actress Caprice brings her CD collection to the Warrior Square club’s Absolute event, playing R&B and commercial dance music.
As well as earning a living wearing knickers and bras in catalogue pictures, the Californian has made brief inroads on to the small and big screens.
She has been in low-budget films Hollywood Flies, Nailing Vienna and Jinxed In Love, plus the soap operas Hollyoaks and Dream Team.
The 37-year-old also appeared on stage in London in the Vagina Monologues and Rent.
However, most impressively, she competed in Los Angeles’ World Poker Championship, finishing 120th out of 700, beating actors Ben Affleck, Matthew Perry, Tobey Maguire, and James Woods.
Ms Dynamite, who has been sweating under the intimidating glare of troll-like chef Marco Pierre White in ITV’s Hell’s Kitchen this week, is also expected to perform live.
The double Brit Award and three time Mobo winning singer, 27, is best known for her hit singles It Takes More and Dy-na-mi-tee. She is releasing a new album later this year, with the first single called Bad Gyal.
Entry to Absolute is £5 before 10.30pm, £7 after. For more information on all events, call 01702 445630.
