An unlikely friendship has blossomed in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle with Duncan Bannatyne and Yvette Fielding calling each other jungle ‘husband and wife’.
Most Haunted presenter Yvette explained: “”My jungle husband is Duncan and we have a special bond. When one of us feels a little bit sick or poorly or tired we look after each other.”
She helped the Dragons’ Den star put a plaster on his foot, saying: “That’s what you do isn’t it? You look after each other.”
Duncan said: “Yvette has become my jungle wife. She’s decided that we’re married. It’s a very, very platonic relationship!”
The 66-year-old businessman is currently in a serious relationship with girlfriend Nigora Whitehorn, 36, and the couple revealed to OK! magazine they are trying for a baby.
One couple who seem to be getting on VERY well is Hollyoaks’ Jorgie Porter and The Wanted’s George Shelley.
The couple could be seen cuddling and talking about jungle socks, with George sporting his monkey-style bath robe.
Former boxer Chris Eubank wasn’t shy to dish out compliments, telling Duncan he reminded him of actor Humphrey Bogart!
Chris told Duncan: “I woke up this morning and looked across at you and I saw Humphrey Bogart. Now that’s a compliment because it’s true. Have you ever been told that? I suppose it probably these war movies where he’s ruffled and you’ve got the same structural face, the same nose, the same mouth around here. Now that’s a compliment.”
Chris later explained his compliment, saying: “This change of lifestyle moving from the concrete jungle to the real jungle, the rainforest, it is challenging but I would say this. Paying your fellow campmates compliments is wise. It will give them something to think about. Everyone loves a compliment. Lifting that spirit.”
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns on Wednesday 18 November at 21.00
