It probably doesn’t matter if Justin Bieber’s album has been leaked online or not – but what does matter is the misfortune of using album in a hashtag.
Especially when the next word is “leaked”.
Yeah. What she said. Awks.
People either read (we’ve capped it up to make it easier) JustinYourAlbumLeaked, as if the Biebs needs telling one more time.
Or you see the slightly awful sounding “bum leaked” and it may or may not refer to Justin anyway.
This is why capitalisation – and in many cases grammar, matters…
Obviously, Twitter’s been here before when Britain’s Got Talent surprise package Susan Boyle launched an album.
Without, y’know, spaces and capitals “Susan’s Album Party” became #susanalbumparty or “anal bum party” to some of us.
