Former Formula One team owner Eddie Jordan is set to join Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc as a presenter on Top Gear, according to RadioTimes.com.

The Irish ex-motorsport boss is expected to be named as part of the Top Gear line-up “within days”, reports say, adding that signing the contract is just a “formality”.

The 67-year-old was the founder and owner of Jordan Grand Prix from 1991 to 2005. He’s also been part of the BBC’s Formula One presenting team.
