CONCERN is growing for a diabetic man who is believed to have gone missing from Basildon Hospital.
Police are appealing for help in tracing Terence King, 54, of no fixed address.
He left Basildon Hospital at around 8.15am this morning, Tuesday, where he was being treated for the effects of high blood sugar levels.
An Essex Police spokeswoman said: "Mr King is a diabetic and has missed his insulin medication. As such police are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare."
Mr King is described as white, thin, with light brown curly hair, which is receding.
He was last seen wearing green hospital pyjamas but may have changed his clothes.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact Essex Police on 101.
