To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the 1888 Whitechapel murders, which were attributed to Jack the Ripper, this drama concentrates on the unsolved case. Trevor Marriott – a retired murder squad detective – reveals the results of his long and protracted cold case re-investigation into the mystery, he may now cause people to rethink their views and perceptions.

Uninspired? Run out of ideas? Try these for size, for anyone with children aged 8-15. Comedy king Mark Curtis is back by popular demand with a workshop on Commedia Dell’Arte, one of the earliest form of comic improvisation. Have fun using half masks and learn the skills behind the delivery of physical comedy and slapstick. For ages 12–15, the workshop runs today from 10am to 4pm and tickets are £25. For ages eight to 12, get to know the language and characters of The Tempest at Shakespeare Explorers, a workshop on appreciating Shakespeare on Tuesday, April 9, from 10am to 4pm and tickets are £25.
