FRINTON Cricket Club have confirmed the signing of New Zealand fast bowler Adam Milne.
The 20-year-old, who made his debut in Saturday’s five-wicket success against Hadleigh, has represented his country in two One-Day Internationals and four Twenty20 internationals.
He replaces Raymon Riefer as the overseas player at Ashlyns Road.
Frinton skipper Mark Jones said: “Adam showed his class and he’s going to be a real handful for batsmen, when the wickets flatten out.
“When the club knew Raymon Riefer had been selected for the West Indies high-performance squad, we set about recruiting another player of his calibre.
“We were fortunate one of our ex-players, Doug Bracewell, put Adam’s name forward and we’re delighted to have him.”
