Updated: Police helicopter scours Westcliff
Essex Police's helicopter scoured Westcliff this evening.
The force helicopter circled over the Station Road area for about half an hour from 7.30pm.
Police confirmed they had been searching for a suspect who made off from a robbery earlier this evening.
Officers were unable to locate the suspect. Enquiries are ongoing.
