A 21-year-old Wickford man has pleaded not guilty to murdering his mother.
Emmanuel Kalejaiye, 21, denies murdering Tolu Kalejaiye, who was found lying in a pool of blood with a stab wound to her neck at their family family home in Wethersfield Way, Wickford, but admits being responsible for her death.
Mrs Kalejaiye, a 44-year-old accountant, was found in the kitchen of the home she shared with her son, on September 26.
The defendant has been remanded in custody and a trial date has been set April 1.
