BROADMAYNE in Basildon is still closed after a car and motorcycle crashed.

The Pitsea-bound carriageway of Broadmayne, Basildon, is closed between Ghyllgrove and Timberlog Lane after a silver Ford Fiesta and a yellow Suzuki motorbike collided at about 12.30pm.

Two people were injured and were treated by paramedics.

The road was closed at 12.45pm to allow for the debris to be cleared and damage to some street lights to be made safe. It is still closed.
