A DOG lover will complete a trio of sporting challenges to raise cash for a kennels.
James White, 30, of Homestead Gardens, Hadleigh, will run and cycle across Essex in aid of Acres Way Kennels in Thundersley.
James has rescued four dogs from the charity in Great Burches Road, including his two current dogs – Siberian husky Ruby and Collie cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier Crumbs.
He will run the Southend Half Marathon on June 8, the Chelmsford Marathon on October 19 and cycle from London to Southend on August 31.
He is now looking for businesses to join Hadleigh bike shop Velo Virtuoso in becoming shirt sponsors.
He said: “The work Acres Way does is absolutely brilliant.
“I do the Southend Half Marathon yearly, but I thought if I did two more events, it would make it more appealing to sponsors.”
