TWO robbers punched a young woman to the floor and then robbed her of her handbag and mobile phone.
Detectives want to speak to these two people in connection with the late night attack.
The violence happened as the woman was walking along Northlands Pavement after getting off the train at Pitsea Railway Station.
The robbers snuck up behind her and punched her to the floor.
One of the attackers grabbed her Samsung mobile phone from her hand and her bag which contained her purse, bank cards and car keys.
She was taken to hospital and received treatment for injuries to her face. The robbery happened at about 12.30am on Saturday, April 26 however Essex Police did not release details of the assault until today.
Dc Phil McCorkell of Basildon CID said: "This incident happened in April and we have been making extensive enquiries.
“The CCTV image is not of the best quality but we would like the two people in the picture to contact police to help with our investigation.”
Detectives are appealing for anyone who recognises the two people in the CCTv or anyone who may have any information about the robbery to contact Dc McCorkell at Basildon on Essex Police 101.
