A DISABLED man was freed from a car after it crashed into a wall in Basildon

Emergency services were called to Luckyn Lane at about 2.46pm today after reports a car had hit the wall outside Topps Tiles at the Pipps Hill Retail Park.

An off-duty paramedic from Grays ambulance station was on the scene first and stabilised the man while two fire crews from Basildon used a winch and blocks to keep the car still.

The man was released from the car by 3.30pm.

Surely the driver hit the wall, the car cannot do anything without a driver behind the wheel?

Escape of logic. you steer a car into a wall, but you don't personally have to hit it. You can target a cricket ball into a member of the crowd but you personally don't hit the victim, the ball does. However, your comment is much preferred to the one that followed you. Probability of guilt without relevant facts is another positive requirement to joining my lynch mob. We're getting there slowly! Far more likely though, that a member of the public texting a comment about this incident stepped in front of him without looking.
Battier by the minute!

Of course hope that the fella was OK after his ordeal. Over to Kim Nasty!
