POLICE are investigating after a cyclist was found lying in the street with head injuries.
Officers were called to Long Ridings in Basildon at about 10pm on Sunday after a man was found on the ground.
The 53-year-old from Westcliff was taken to Basildon Hospital with a bleed on the brain.
Police believe the injury happened when he fell from his bike.
It is not known if there is a vehicle involved in the incident.
