A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital following an accident on the A13 near Grays.
Emergency services rushed to the A13 this afternoon after a car overturned on the busy Londonbound carriageway between the Stifford Interchange and M25.
The fire service, police and ambulance, were called at about 1pm after a female driver lost control of her silver Toyota Celica.
The car flipped over and the fire service used specialist equipment to release two people who became trapped.
Both carriageways were closed while the Air Ambulance landed and two people were taken to Darent Valley Hospital by land ambulance.
A woman has potentially sustained a serious head injury while one man in his 20s suffered minor injuries.
The incident has now been cleared.
