A BILLERICAY man has been arrested for causing death by careless driving after a pedestrian was killed.
Emergency services were called to Roxwell Road in Chelmsford at about 6am on December 1.
The male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 26-year-old van driver was arrested for causing death by careless driving and was then further arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries until April 10, 2014.
