THE Thurrock community and beyond have pulled together and raised over £5,000 in just two days for the family of tragic Bradley Arthur.

The body of the 24-year-old was found on Tuesday morning, after he was reported missing on New Year’s Day.

Thousands of tributes have been posted online for the dad of one on a dedicated Facebook page, and now friends, family and even those who didn’t know Brad have been donating online to help fund the funeral and for his two-month old son Archie.

The Go Fund Me page was set up by Emma Reed, who on the page said she didn’t know Brad.

She says: “Raising money for the family of Bradley Arthur, who went missing early hours of New Year’s Day. Tragically, Bradley was found some days later.

“The money raised will be given to Brad's family to go towards the funeral and the remainder to be held in trust for Brad's child's future/upbringing.

“I do not know Brad's family personally, but like everyone else was deeply saddened by this event. I would like to reassure people that all my contacts details have been given to the Police involved in the case so that they may be passed to the family when appropriate.”
