Lorry and car crash near tyre fire closure road
An accident between a lorry and a car has caused further delays for drivers near the Fairglen Interchange this morning.
The crash was reported on the A1245, between Rawreth and Rettendon, at about 8.25am.
The road is already busy due to the closure of the A1245, south of the A129, due to the ongoing fire at Michelins Farm.
Police have closed the A1245 between Rettendon and Chelmsford Road and traffic is being diverted through Battlesbridge, with long delays reported.
