Sunday travellers have faced some minor problems on the Greater Anglia line this morning.
An empty train derailed at the company's Illfort depot, trapping a series of coaches there.
As a result, the 9.22am Wickford to London Liverpool Street has been cancelled. It was due to arrive in Essex an hour later.
The 9.52am from Wickford to Liverpool Street, now due at 10.44am, will be formed of half the normal eight carriages.
Trains in and out of London on the line are likely to be formed of four rather than eight carriages for the remainder of the day.
