Terrestrial Imagine BBC1, 10.35 pm Ninety-year-old Maria Altmann's struggle to recover five Gustav Klimt paintings stolen from her family by the Nazis in Vienna. From the end of the war until last year, these paintings hung in the Austrian National Gallery. Her fight to reclaim them eventually took her to the United States Supreme Court and pitted her not just against Austria but against the US government.

House of Horrors ITV1, 8pm Jonathan Maitland confronts the con-men. The rogue PC repairman is a relatively new breed of trader, but more common as more people become equipped with home computers. Maitland's bunch of undercover nurses decide to call in one such compu-cowboy. Meanwhile, pensioners hail a roofing company to clean their roof tiles and replace fascia boards, but the workers smoke dope while balancing precariously on planks of wood. Plus there's the plumber who charges £120 for replacing parts that don't actually need replacing.

Virgin School Channel 4, 10pm An insight into perhaps the most anticipated time in a person's life: bidding cheerio to their virginity. James is a 26-year-old virgin who's given up hope of ever having sex or a meaningful relationship with a woman. That could be about to change as he heads off to Virgin School, a four-month course in Amsterdam for sexually inexperienced chappies. Jings, if enough progress is made, James could end up losing his virginity to one of the sex-therapist coaches.

Digital The Scam Squad BBC3, 8.30 pm Britain loses a staggering £8bn a year to scam artists. This observational documentary series follows three teams of Trading Standards officers from the English south-east as they target dodgy traders and rip-off merchants. Between them, Surrey's Trading Standards rapid action team - Raith Bennett and Ian Inglis - have more than 30 years' experience and have caught 268 rogues, saving scam victims more than £600,000. Raith and Ian expose a pair of rogue builders as they try to con 86-year-old Mrs Thomas out of £2500. However, confronting the scammers and securing an arrest both prove tricky.

Vera Drake Film4, 9pm Mike Leigh's Oscar-nominated and Bafta-winning film finds Imelda Staunton dispensing countless nice cups of tea - and other more noxious stuff - in its title role. Vera is a working-class wife and mother in post-war London who cleans for toffs as well as caring for her elderly mother and invalid neighbour. But she also helps girls who have unwanted pregnancies. Although abortion is illegal, Vera sees it as a service, not a money-making venture. The authorities disagree.

What About Brian E4, 9pm When things go awry after Marjorie moves into fiance Adam's place, she doesn't want to interrupt him, so she calls on Brian for help - forcing the two to take stock of their friendship. Meanwhile, Dave and Brian anxiously await a call from a potential client who could solve their money woes.

Radio Between Ourselves Radio 4, 9am Never cloying but insightful, Olivia O'Leary returns for the tenth series of this confessional programme. Today Sarah, a former drug addict and prostitute, talks about the revulsion she felt with her rock-bottom life, while A-Jaye, a male escort, reflects on his nocturnal liaisons and his use of humour to hide the pathos.
