It's been the marital home for 28 years but now the dirt, clutter and chaos are keeping the duo apart. Muck-banishing matriarchs Kim Woodburn and Aggie MacKenzie are on a mission to restore domestic harmony. But Angela refuses to throw out her charity shop purchases, while David thinks cleaning is women's work. The Last Detective ITV1, 9pm Veteran comedian Bunny Hopper (played by Roy Hudd) drops dead on stage after taking a gulp of red wine; Dangerous Davies suspects he's been murdered. As Dangerous begins investigating, he discovers that old Bunny was a bit of a Casanova comedian, with a harem of female fans. He trawls Bunny's little black book to discover why he died. Hustle BBC1, 9pm You'll have to trust me on this, but the first rule of the honest con-merchants' code is "never con an honest man". But that's exactly what's happening to Eddie, the gang's favourite barman. A ruthless nursing home owner, Veronica Powell, has roped Eddie into a contract that'll cost him 50 grand to get out of; otherwise, his father loses his house and everything he's worked for. Veronica likes to rob old people and steals from charities, so she's a perfect mark for the principled fiscal prestidigitators. Digital The Great Sperm Crisis BBC3, 9pm When comedian and TV presenter Danny Robins travelled the country to highlight the shortage of British sperm donors, he was surprised to discover just how many men were prepared to lend a hand and pledge support. When the law changed in April 2005, sperm donors no longer had the right to remain anonymous and children can discover who is their biological father. This has proved a big turn-off to potential donors: numbers have sunk to an all-time low of approximately 200 donors for the whole of the UK. Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter ITV2, 9pm Peter returns for his second acting lesson, while Jordan/ Katie/whatever-she's-called has a photo shoot and interview for a parenting mag. Later, Peter tries his acting skills on friends and family with mixed reactions. Fed up with London traffic, Katie and Peter decide to take helicopter lessons with the idea of buying a helicopter to commute into London. Generation Xcess ITV2, 10pm Tens of thousands of twenty-somethings spend every waking moment of their weekends partying hard. Students, office workers, glamour girls, club kids, ladettes and a rowdy rugby team submit to the camera on typical nights out. They are, apparently, all part of an outrageously out-of-control, flexisexual generation with few boundaries or taboos. Generation Xcess intends to eschew bare-bummed sensationalism in presenting this social group. Aye, right. Radio Genius Radio 4, 11pm Don't miss the last in this present series of great, loony projects. Tonight Armando Iannucci joins that very funny man Dave Gorman to investigate some of the weirdest inventions created by the public. The inventors also explain their Eureka! moments which allows Iannucci to choose his favourite concept. Ultimately it's the audience that will vote for the most inspired creation. And remember: a lot of folk once thought the light bulb was a dim idea.
