CITY centre workers are to get specialist instruction on how to deal with a terror alert today.
Community safety officers have teamed up with local businesses to deliver Project Griffin at the Trades Hall.
The nationwide business resilience and security programme covers bomb threat management, dealing with suspect packages and being able to spot any hostile reconnaissance.
Chief Superintendent David Christie said: "The training and awareness day has been designed to enhance the preparedness of the participating organisations, for major incidents including certain terrorist related threats."
