Double world champ Bernard Lagat took time out from his preparation for tomorrow's Norwich Union International at the Kelvin Hall to meet young athletes from the West of Scotland squad.
The Kenya-born middle-distance runner, now a naturalised American, is in Glasgow for the event which sees Great Britain take on the USA, Sweden, Germany and a Commonwealth Select squad.
Lagat created history at the World Champion-ships in Osaka last summer when he became the first athlete to claim both the 1500m and 5000m in the same competition.
Back row: Clare Gemmell, Josephine Moultrie, Bernard Lagat, Max Ralston, Sam Adams. Front row: Matthew Turner and David Martin.
