Two women have been arrested after a third woman reported that she had been assaulted and robbed at Basildon bus station.
Officers went to Southernhay, Basildon, at about 6.15pm on July 2 after a 31-year-old woman, from Stanford-Le-Hope, reported that she had been robbed.
A 32-year-old woman from Basildon who was arrested on suspicion of robbery has been released on police bail until September 3, pending further enquiries.
A second woman, unemployed Sally Burrows, 40, of no fixed address, has been charged with robbery.
Anyone who saw what happened and has not yet spoken to police is asked to call Dc Nicholas May at Basildon police station on 101.
