A murder investigation has been launched after a man who suffered a serious head injury has died.
The 46-year-old man from Billericay was injured at a house in Sudburys Farm Road, Little Burstead, just before 9.20am on Thursday, July 30.
He died in hospital in London last night.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about any suspicious behaviour or unusual activity in Blind Lane or Sudburys Farm Road on the morning of July 30 to contact them.
A 59-year-old man from the Billericay area and a 53-year-old man from Basildon remain on police bail pending further enquiries until September 4.
