THE SISTER Act cast took over Adventure Island on Southend seafront yesterday to promote their UK and Ireland musical tour - which is coming to Cliffs Pavilion from today.
The show, based on the famous feature film, will feature a star-studded cast which includes TV and stage legend Lesley Joseph as “Mother Superior” and West End star Landi Oshinowo as the lead character “Deloris Van Cartier”.
The cast, dressed in their nun outfits, were seen having fun on the carousels and Lesley Joseph was seen playing penny pushers in the arcade during their visit.

A spokesman from Adventure Island said: “Make sure to check out Sister Act at Southend Theatres… We will be!”
The Sister Act show will be on from today Friday September 8 to Saturday September 16 at Cliffs Pavilion in Station Road.
