A RECENT study revealed that since 2020, four out of five schools dropped from the top grade of “outstanding” after an Ofsted inspection.
A number of south Essex schools have retained their top grade, or have had their ratings upgraded, in recent months. This includes Westcliff High School for Girls, Westcliff High School for Boys and St Peter's Catholic Primary School.
