ARMED cops forced their way into a Basildon home after threats were made to police.

Officers were called to a house in Gordon Road following a neighbour dispute at about 9.30pm on Friday.

A man in the house then threatened police officers with violence.

He was taken to Basildon Hospital suffering from a pre-existing medical condition.
