Fisherman rescued by firemen (From Basildon Recorder)

A FISHERMAN was rescued by firefighters at a lake in Basildon on Thursday night.

Crews from Basildon and Leigh rushed to the scene in Northlands Park in Felmores just after 2am.

The fisherman had been asleep and woke to find himself surrounded by water.

He was actually in his boat at the time,so 'water all around' aint a surprise.

It's the spawning season I bet he found an old trout from basland then fell asleep woke up then found out he had been hook line and sinkerd.
