Teenager loses phone in mugging

Detectives have appealed for information following a robbery in Chafford Hundred.
The 18-year-old victim was on an alleyway behind Tesco at Merlin Close when he was pushed over and robbed of a mobile phone.
The incident happened at about 12. 30pm on Saturday September 1.
Two suspects were involved and they took a black iPhone 4 the victim, who lives locally, had been holding in his hand.
They ran off towards Drake Road. The victim was shaken but unharmed.
The main suspect was said to be white, aged 19-20, of large build, about 6ft 2in tall and was wearing a grey tracksuit with black trainers. The victim did not see the second suspect to give any kind of description.

See app 'android lost' for android and the I phone has similar stuff.
They're free and they work. If this teen was too lazy to install something then it's too bad for him.
Probably he didn't bother to record the imei number either.

You wouldn't walk down the road blithely displayng a wad of notes to the sum of 400 quid without the thought that some nogoodnik would want to grab it out of your hands would you?
Too many people sucked in by the 'must have the latest hip gadget' movement.
