THOUSANDS of people flocked to the 106th annual Orsett Show to enjoy a packed line-up of dog and horse displays, helicopter rides and motorcycle stunts.

Crowds enjoyed a range of displays, including steam engines, classic cars and a circus skills workshop.

Among the highlights were a spectacular show by the Adrenaline Tour – a spectacular quad and motorcycle stunt show, which thrilled the crowds.

Other entertainment included Surrey Docks City Farm, birds of prey, fly fishing coaching and a traditional bakery show.

Marquees were packed with selections of locally grown fruit and vegetables, as well as flower displays and homemade crafts.

David Henderson, who helps out at the show, said: “It was a superb day.

“We don’t know exactly how many visitors we had, but it was thousands and the car parks were absolutely bulging, proving the show is as popular as ever.

“There was lots going on this year, and many of our visitors were experiencing the Orsett Show for the first time.

“The Adrenaline Tour, where a man was doing amazing things on a quad bike, proved especially popular. It was spectacular.

“The steam and traction engines were also a big hit, especially with the children, who seemed amazed by the vast machines.”
