DOZENS of retail workers are taking to the picket lines in rows over pension cuts.
Scores of staff members at Argos in Pipps Hill Retail Park, Basildon, have gone on strike in a bid to fight changes to their pension entitlement.
The protest began at 6am this morning and will continue for a further four days.
It follows the announcement that workers' pension entitlement, which is under Argos’ control, will gradually be cut from the original final salary scheme, creating a shortfall of what could be tens of thousands of pounds for some employees.
