A127 blocked after crash between car and lorry

POLICE are diverting traffic off the London bound A127 after a car and lorry crashed on the carriageway.
Emergency services were called to the collision involving a black Vauxhall Corsa and white Daf lorry near the Mayflower Retail Park at 12.25pm today, Thursday.
Fire crews have also been called as one person is believed to be trapped in their vehicle.
The road is blocked and traffic is being taken off the A127 and on to the Nevendon roundabout to get into Basildon.
