Firefighters tackle blaze at house in Noak Bridge, Basildon

FIREFIGHTERS were called to Calvinia Close, in Noak Bridge, just after 9am this morning where the bottom floor of the two-storey detached house was heavily smoked logged.
Officers from Basildon fire station wore breathing apparatus and put out the flames by 9.30am.
