Smash and grab raid: Detectives release e-fit
DETECTIVES, hunting smash and grab raiders who targeted a jewellery store, have released CCTV images of a man they are hunting.
One of the raiders walked into Bellefontaine Jewellers on Billericay High Street at 9am on Thursday November 22.
While his accomplice kept lookout outside, the raider smashed the counter and grabbed a haul of gems.
The man who entered the shop is described as white, of medium build and wore dark clothing, with a scarf over his face and a white Nike beanie hat.
His accomplice, pictured in the CCTV image, is described as white, in his 50s, has short hair, a thin face, pitted facial skin and is approximately 5ft 8ins tall.
Anyone with information can contact detectives at Basildon police station on 101.
