Man dies in cafe

AN INQUEST will be opened after a man died in a cafe on Saturday afternoon.

The unnamed man, 45, was at Deli 37 in High Street, Billericay, when he became ill.

Police and ambulance crews were called.

An Essex Police spokesman said: “Police were contacted just before 2.40pm following reports of a man falling while at a cafe in Billericay. The man sadly died despite the efforts of paramedics.

What a horrible comment from Olivia... The staff and customers who were present tried their best efforts to help him, not stopping until the ambulance crew where there to take over. You think people would show some humanity and sympathy for those involved and his unknown family at such a sensitive time of year.

it directly affected all staff members who appreciate every customer of which allow for the business to do so well.

Our thoughts are with the family at such a heartfelt time. We are proud of the quick reaction of the team and surrounding community who showed such care and concern for this man.

The comments left by some, on what is after all a story about a personal tragedy, are proof that the world is not about to run out of idiots any time soon.

I'm sure the mans family will find the above comments hilarious.
I think it's time that the people who run this website seriously reconsider allowing comments to be posted to articles like this or at least they need to moderate it more closely.
3 out of 5 of the above comments are making light of a local man who died barely 48 hours ago, a man who's family could reasonably be expected to read this.

It's one of the reasons I hardly contribute to the discussions any more because of trolls like Olivia.

A bit of banter is a laugh but cheap gags about people dying isn't.

This my was dear uncle Roger who wassed away in the deli. He was autistic and a lovely man. He died from a heart attack and it was so unexpected and my nan, grandad and my dad are in bits over his loss. This will be a very hard xmas for our family. I also think some of the above comments are just discusting! How would you feel if a policeman knocked on your door and told you your son had died. My nan an grandads world ended that day.
