POLICE officers investigating the rape of a teenager at a busy Basildon nightclub have released CCTV images of two women they want to talk to.
The pair are believed to have helped the victim after she was sexually assaulted behind the DJ stand at Liquid, on Basildon's Festival Leisure Park, between 1am and 2am on Sunday, June 30.
Despite numerous appeals for the two women to come forward to help with the investigation, detectives have not been able to trace or identify them.
They helped the 18 year-old victim, from Romford, after they found her in a toilet cubicle shortly after the incident.
A 19 year-old man from Hertfordshire was arrested on Thursday, August 8, in connection with the investigation.
He has been bailed until September 18 whilst further enquiries are carried out.
