£6k of cigarettes stolen from newsagent
THIEVES stole more than £6,000 of cigarettes from a newsagent during a late night burglary.
The burglars broke in to Martins newsagent in Ballards Walk, Laindon at 11.40pm on October 30 by forcing a back door.
They caused £500 damage.
Anyone with information about the incident should contact Basildon Police Station on 101.
