THREE people have had their bail extended in connection with an aggravated burglary in Pitsea.
The trio, all from Basildon, were arrested on February 4 in Maydells, Pitsea, following a 20 hours police man hunt across the borough.
It included armed police, the police helicopter and dog units.
The search began after officers were called to a home in Stokefelde, Pitsea, following reports a group of men had forced their way into the house and threatened the occupants with a weapon, believed to be a firearm.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and possessing a controlled drug.
A 57-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.
A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with the intent to cause fear of violence and possession of an offensive weapon.
They have all been bailed, pending further enquiries until May 9.
