Police at firearms incident in Laindon
A MAN has been arrested for possession of a gun after an incident in Laindon.
Essex Police were called to a flat in Wayletts, Laindon at about 4.30pm today following reports of a disturbance.
Officers went in to the property and arrested a man on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
As the Echo went to press the man was being taken to Basildon Police Station to be questioned by officers.
Police remain at the scene and enquiries are continuing.
