DOG warden has renewed her appeal to find the animal that mauled her flock of sheep.
The husky-type dog, which is cream in colour with grey markings on its body and has distinctive markings on its face that make it look as if it is wearing a mark, killed one of the flock earlier this month.
Valeria Howells, Southend dog warden and owner of the flock, has asked the public to keep a look out for the dog.
It ran off into Hockley Woods on Thursday, June 4, after mauling one sheep and seriously injuring several others in a field off Mount Bovers Lane. Mrs Howells has released grainy pictures of the dog in the hope that they will jog someone’s memory or encourage the animal’s owner to come forward.
Police are investigating the incident and anyone with information about the dog is asked to contact them on 101.
