THREE teenagers have been arrested after a stabbing in Pitsea yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services rushed to Felmores End after reports of a disturbance at 4.35pm.

A boy, believed to be 14 or 15, was treated at the scene for a suspected knife wound and taken to hospital for further treatment.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening and Essex Police have confirmed that he is still alive.

Two 15-year-old girls, one from Basildon and one from Billericay, and a 15-year-old boy from Barking, were arrested and taken to police stations for questioning.

Officers have cordoned off the area where the incident took place and police have been carrying out house to house enquiries and forensic examinations.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "Additional police patrols are being carried out in the area this morning and anyone with information or concerns can to speak to these officers.

"Witnesses or other people with information about what happened can also call Basildon CID on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

A TEENAGE boy was taken to hospital after he was stabbed.

Nine police cars, ambulances and paramedics swooped on Felmores End on Pitsea’s Felmores estate at about 4.30pm yesterday.

The teenager, believed to be aged about 14 or 15, was sent to hospital for further treatment in a serious condition.

Police set up a cordon around the scene and arrested one boy who was taken into custody for further questioning.

An Essex Police spokesman said: “Police attended at Felmores End in Pitsea following reports of a disturbance.

“Officers, ambulance and paramedics went to the location following a call from a member of the public at 4.35pm.

“A teenage boy was treated at the scene with a suspected knife wound and has been taken to hospital for further treatment.”

The ambulance service sent an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and two ambulance officers to the scene.
