Appeal over road crash

POLICE have appealed for information about a road crash when the driver fled the scene.

A Ford Titanium crashed into the central barrier of the A127 London-bound between the A1245 and the A132 at just after 11.30pm on April 9.

The driver left the scene, so police officers mounted a search but there was no trace of anyone.

Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Essex Police on 101.

I would guess either stolen (but the article would have said that)

Or driver was drunk.

Impound the car and wait for (the known) owner to collect it.
