A RADIO show host is setting out on a tough trek through rivers, hills and mountains, to raise money for charity.

Natalie Solomons, from Southend Radio’s breakfast show, will embark on the challenge through Nepal this November to raise cash for the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service.

She will camp outdoors and climbing hills and mountains up to 3200m high. Highlights will include a sunrise climb of Poon Hill, taking in panoramic views of the Himalayas, trekking through dense forests, and visiting local villages.

She describes the trek as “the challenge of a lifetime”.

Natalie is setting off on November 9 for ten days, and will be documenting her trek on the breakfast show, Wake Up Essex, on Southend Radio throughout the challenge. Ms Solomons needs to raise a minimum of £3,000 in sponsorship.

There is still time for people to join her, with a few spaces left on the trek. To find out more, contact Sabi Blyth on 0845 2417 690 or email trek@ehaat.uk.com for an information pack.
