A HEADTEACHER has paid tribute to the hard work of her secretary who has now twice reached the finals of a national competition for school PAs.
Carol Nye, PA to the head of King John School, Thundersley, reached the finals of SecEd magazine’s PA of the Year competition after being nominated by her boss, Margaret Wilson.
Mrs Nye, 50, was a VIP guest at an awards evening, in the five-star Landmark Hotel in Marylebone.
Miss Wilson said: “School support staff are untiring in the work they do and their dedication and support has a major impact on the standards and attainment of the school’s students.”
Mrs Nye said: “It is really gratifying to work in such a successful school, which celebrates and appreciates the work of all its staff.”
