MOVIE making brothers are celebrating a £250,000 win enabling them to make a feature film.
David and Keith Lynch, of Crouch Beck, South Woodham Ferrers, were named winners of nationwide competition the Big Pitch on Saturday.
The brothers, with Simon Thomas, from East Hanningfield, and Brad Wilson, from Billericay, clinched victory against two other groups in the final. The team won an online vote and an audience vote, after they delivered a pitch for the movie at the Baltic art gallery in Newcastle.
Now the group have the funding to make their film Different Shades of Graham and the deal guarantees it a slot in cinemas.
Keith, 27, said: “It’s just life-changing and absolutely amazing, I can’t believe we managed to pull it off. All the family and friends who were there with us just stampeded the stage.
“But now we’ve won we need to get on with the script and get in touch with the actors, to tell them it’s being made.”
David, 25, said:“I think we might have won because of our idea for the film.”
Different Shades of Graham is about a man who suffers from multiple personalities.
