THOUSANDS flocked to the ever-popular Orsett Show to enjoy a whole host of events from motorcycle displays to rare breeds of cattle.

There was plenty to enjoy at the showground, including steam engines and classic car shows, a wild west spectacular from the Devil’s Horseman, an eagle and vulture display plus stunts by the Royal Artillery Motorcycle team, the Flying Gunners.

The show, which started with a ploughing match in 1841, is now the oldest surviving one-day agricultural event in the county, and is getting bigger and better every year.
