A 17-YEAR-OLD girl was punched in the face by a stranger.
The youngster was in Hamstel Road, Southend, when a man walked up to her and said "You're Lee's Ex" before punching her.
He then sauntered off in the direction of Eastern Avenue. The victim was left with reddening to her face.
The incident happened at around 11.15am on Friday, September 3 roughly halfway between the junction with Archer Avenue and the sweet shop on Hamstel Road.
The suspect has been described as white, aged 19 to 21 and about 6ft 2ins tall. He was of average build with shaven blonde hair wearing a navy blue Nike Air tracksuit and black baseball cap.
