A WOMAN has been stabbed in the stomach in a Southend street.
Police were called to Herbert Grove at about midday today after the woman was attacked.
The 22-year-old was taken to Southend Hospital for treatment to her injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police suspect a 28-year-old man who was known to the woman to be responsible.
